By applying the foundational skill termed
'Breathing Down' (not just in and out),
practitioners exercise Vital Organs
(Kidneys, Adrenals, Liver) with the Diaphragm
and build Bones with Muscles in precise
Self Defense Actions.
In other words, fighting the foe of poor form
THAT WE ALL BATTLE AGAINST
with today's de-vices and weight
of the world on our collective shoulders.

What We Do IS What We Are.
This diagram describes the inner workings of the Human Musculo-Skeletal Machine.
Superimposed over an outline of the yin-yang symbol, it emphasizes the connection between
our physical reality and the meta-physical ideology of a vast body of knowledge.
The two main energy centers of the Heart and the Gut (known as the second brain)
are in a constant flow of energy. The Heart pumps the energy of blood, and the Gut digests the energy of food.
Surrounding the Heart are the Lungs which pump and digest the energy of Air (Oxygen).
The line separating the two realms of Yin (Heart) and Yang (Gut) represents the Diaphragm:
the muscle that makes the Lungs work and that surrounds several Vital Organs.
Of these organs, the ones that clean the blood are the Kidneys,
Connecting and Exercising these organs with the Diaphragmatic Muscle is the focus of a Breathing~Body.
(Besides the benefits of integrated and intentional Breathing, which are numerous:
Oxygenating the blood and brain cells • Regulating the nervous system • Balanced blood pressure
• More time in deep sleep • Reduction of PTSD and feelings of trauma • Stronger respiratory function
• Better immune system • Releases stress hormones • Releases toxins)
The Breathing~Body functions best when supported with Posture proficiency.
This skill is the crucial core and hidden inner Art of Martial Arts.

Greetings! My name is Neal Borowsky, known by many as Steel Neal.
I identify as a Poet, Sculptor, Union Ironworker (Local 40!) Author, Husband, Father, and of course, Martial Artist.
I developed Iron Core Style Martial HeArts© because I love what I learned,
and I'm passionate about passing on that knowledge to future generations. It is essential, elemental, reading between the lines, back to basics training.
I studied Nabi Su (Butterfly Hand) with Grandmaster Min Q. Pai
in the early 1990s. His 'style' is the culmination of his life's study/work in lineages of the highest order: Hung Gar/5 Animal Forms (Dragon, Crane, Snake, Tiger, Leopard); Tai Chi Chuan with Master Cheng Man-Chi'ng;
and Rinzai Zen with Eido Roshi, to name a few.
His teachings improved and saved my life*,
and I know it can do the same for you and yours.
*At the age of 39, I suffered neck and low back injuries in two separate events. The first was from doing crazy dives into a pool July 4 weekend.
Second, I got hit by a car while standing still on my bicycle the week before Thanksgiving that same year.
I walked away from both incidents, without realizing the damage done.
After three years, those injuries grew into painful problems.
Applying the Martial Arts Mindset and Skills (and committed chiropractic care) to my condition, I became healed, pain-free, and empowered after another six soul-strengthening years.
I then realized bringing this knowledge to YOU is the best way to help serve society and keep the lineage of my Grandmaster's lessons alive.
